Biography
Liana Mendoza, NYU Tisch Graduate, was born on November 19, in Los Angeles, California. Acting and singing run through Liana's veins from blood relative, who is a national treasure and left behind a legacy with his passing, Vicente Fernandez. Liana Mendoza is now named "Top 5 successful Spanish speaking women" by Cosmopolitan Magazine. Mendoza is listed, alongside Penélope Cruz and Paz Vega. Soon after, was honored as a "Trailblazer Performer" by SAG-AFTRA and received congressional recognition for their contributions to society.
Beginning as a dancer at the tender age of 3 years old, joining a ballet company at 10. By age 12, Liana was 1 of 15 students invited to attend Hamilton High School Academy of Music and Performing Arts. At 18, her calling was clear. Liana booked the lead role of Disney's Princess Jasmine in an onstage play in Anaheim, Ca. Attended Pace University for acting but also had strong desires to write, produce and direct.
