Biography
Anne Schäfer, born in 1979 in Munich, is studying acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Zurich. After her first roles at the Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2005, she receives a permanent engagement at the Landestheater Tübingen. Here she plays, among other things, the title role in Goethe's "Iphigenia on Tauris". In 2006/2007 Schäfer is a guest actress at the Theater Basel. Since 2008 she belongs to the permanent ensemble of the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. In 2009 she is awarded the Kurt Meisel Prize, the sponsorship award from the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater. Anne Schäfer plays her first movie role in the melancholic comedy "Cindy does not love me" in 2010 as a young woman who is leading two romantic relationships at the same time. After that, she has guest appearances in various television series in addition to her numerous stage roles, such as in "The Mountain Doctor" or "SOKO 5113".
